I’m stoked to be heading back to the Winnipeg Tattoo Show this year.
This show has always been one of my favourites to attend. It’s not just about tattooing — it’s a full-on experience. The energy is unreal, and it brings together some of the best artists from across Canada and around the world.
Over the weekend, you’ll find:
● Live tattooing from hundreds of artists — both local and international.
● Walk-up options with select artists if you’re feeling spontaneous.
● Tons of vendors offering everything from jewelry, art, and apparel to piercing and airbrushing.
● Tattoo competitions in multiple categories — always cool to watch (or be part of).
● Art showcases, live music, and even collaborative art pieces happening in real time.
● A history section that pays tribute to tattoo culture, including stories and photos from Winnipeg’s scene.
● A kids zone, with games, a colouring contest, and fun “tattoos” for the little ones.
Whether you’re looking to get tattooed, check out new styles, meet artists, or just hang out and soak in the scene — there’s something for everyone. And it’s all happening under one roof at the RBC Convention Centre.
I’ve been lucky to walk away with a couple of awards in past years — 1st Place Large Black and Grey and 3rd Place Large Black and Grey — and I’m grateful for the recognition. This year, I’m fully booked, but I’ll still be around the booth and happy to meet anyone interested in future work.
